Disappointments
How do you handle disappointment?
//Who are we disappointed in? Is it someone we like, or someone we don't care about?//
\\Would it make a difference?\\
//Of course! If it's someone we like, we won't eat them when we're done punishing them!//
As one of the oldest races, the Shadows are accustomed to dealing with disappointments. So often, the younger races don't do the things they should do. So often, they side with the Vorlons, believing their messages because of their meddling, or because it's the only side they have been presented with. While we understand their ignorance, it still disappoints us, because it only proves that they are not ready to evolve.
Unfortunately, the only way to deal with these disappointments is to rid the Universe of them. If they are not willing to evolve, then they will simply stagnate and die, anyway. It is better to remove them than risk their stagnation affecting other races.
