What is a typical day for you?

//What an absolutely inane question!//

\\I know... we should answer it carefully enough that they can't use it to track us down, though...\\

//True -- Sinclair may still want to throw us out the airlock...//

A typical day for us begins whenever we wake up. We are usually curled up with Morden, and anyone who is sharing his bed at the moment, although sometimes we will hide ourselves if the person is easily frightened. In cases like that, we let Morden ease them into the family slowly before we even appear to them.

We spend much of our day traveling around the station, or wherever we happen to be at the time; gathering news or allies, seeing to it that various plans are put in motion, always working towards our goals. Sometimes we grab a small snack Downbelow, although we have to be careful to avoid the small enclave of rogue telepaths. And these days, we often keep an eye on Garibaldi while he does his work Downbelow. It is always better to know exactly where he is, so that we do not have any unexpected problems.

After we have checked on our projects and handled meetings or negotiations or whatever is necessary, we go with Morden to things he has to do, or travel with him, or go to his favourite cafe with him. As always, we keep all of our senses on our surroundings, making sure that those who wish us harm do not locate us.

Once our evening entertainment is finished, we return to Morden's quarters with him, and often satisfy his -- and our -- appetites for things other than food. And the day ends much as it began, with us curled up with Morden, sleeping comfortably and dreaming of what the Universe will be like when other races finally learn what we can offer them...

The world will end tomorrow. What will you do today?

//Which world? Our homeworld?//

\\Or Babylon 5?\\

//Or the Epsilon Eridani system? The galaxy?//

\\Or the entire Universe?\\

Our answer depends on which 'world' the question refers to. Our ships have the ability to travel great distances in Hyperspace in a short time, so relocation itself is quite simple. If it is Babylon 5, or this planetary system, or even the galaxy, we would simply take our allies and friends out of the area to a safer place. And perhaps our favourite projects and those we wish to bring over to our side. It would be a shame to lose those who could help us out so much if they became ours...

If it is the Universe? We would still be able to escape to another place, but it would take a little more work, and most probably would require the assistance of greater machinery than just our ships. But since we have greater machinery than just our ships, this is still not much of a stumbling block.

If it is our homeworld, Z'ha'dum, it could be more difficult. We would have to remove all who still live there, move the machines and components and other important projects, and convince... someone to move with us to a new homeworld. It would be hard to leave our home behind, but we would do it. We know there are many planets in this Universe that are ready to house us; many planets where our ships have been left behind, where our influence is felt even now.

We are an ancient race, and would not let the end of the world keep us from continuing.
